Born in Sanandaj, Kurdistan, Iran on February 18th 1990, due to his sportive family, Chiako Bahmani stepped into the world of sports when he was only 5 years old.

Like most of the athletes, he experienced different sports and finally tended towards Kickboxing and Muay Thai when he was 13. He got his first title 2 years later in the National Team Selection Tournament and this was a turning point in his athletic career which encouraged him to pursue the field more determined than before. During his professional time as an athlete he faced different challenges including the bad conditions for professional sports generally in Iran, lack of sports facilities and welfare, injuries and so on. But after his injury, a new era started for him in which he tried to eliminate obstacles such as shortages and also easing the tensions on the way of professional and amateur athletes and also he tried to lead his enthusiasm towards the promotion of individual and social well being through collective sport activities.

Training athletes to drive them toward championship in national and international level by helping them grow professionally and technically, working with province and state teams and also international clubs to train their athletes for fights and competitions are among Chiako’s sport activities.

Chosen as the best coach in the province and youngest coach in Iran among the bests and highest of the field, and bringing up and training athletes like Kavan Azadi (Iran’s only gold Medalist in Asian Muay Thai Championship in 2018) and Jamal Madani (professional Muay Thai fighter and also member of Iran’s  national team for several years) was another turning point in his career but this time as a coach.

Along with training professionals, Chiako bahmani has also had contracts with different companies and organizations for amateur athletes to this date. Promoting the quality of champions trainings and helping them achieve their goals of championship is one of Chiako’s specially valued favorites.  Injecting liveliness and exhilaration in the society and especially among the office workers (which has a high population in Iran) who are mostly a victim of inaction and helping poor and less privileged athletes and sports lovers are among his actions because he believes this causes the spirit of sports and happiness spread in the families and society.

During his professional time, Chiako Bahmani won many national, world and Asian titles in MuayThai, Kickboxing and MMA. Of course since MMA is a forbidden sport in Iran and therefore athletes have to practice it as a clandestine activity, unfortunately he hasn’t been able to fulfill one of his dreams which is MMA, but he is still hopeful to keep up the activity and find a way to fulfill this one too.

Though on a fight ring its only you who win, but there’s always a coach which was with you all your way to that ring, and when you realize that your coach has already paved that way and been a champion himself, your chance of winning increases because you believe in your coach and this is one of the reasons Chiako has so many contracts with fighters.

Since his wife is also a professional (level 1) bodybuilding and basketball trainer and coach and was a former champion in basketball, Chiako Bahmani has a life mixed with sports and this is another reason that your trust in him was not in vain.
